- Download the latest firmware. Unzip the files and run the “.exe” file and select “wired” version. Download Latest Firmware. Step 2: Press D-Pad down and Triangle and connect via usb cable. The menu will change showing the controller is ready to update. Step 3: Press “update”. Once completed, remove the USB cable.
