Attention: Must choose the right serial number and hardware key. For DS150 delphi new vci the serial number is 100251, while that for golden color autocom cdp plus is 20418.

Step 1:

Don't plug AutoCom USB cable into computer yet. We'll tell you when to do it.

a) Download from link we emailed you, and unextract AutoCom 2013.3 to your computer. Launch: DSCars_HeavyDuty_R32013

b) Select 'DS150E (New VCI)' from drop-down.

c) Click 'Next'...

d) Leave 'Destination Folder' intact. DO NOT changethe path. Just click on 'Install'. Let install complete. Then go to Step2 below...

Step 2:

a) Go to folder: C:Program Files (x86)Delphi DiagnosticsDS150E (New VCI)

b) Delete entire folder called: data

Step 3:

a) Download from link we emailed you, and unextract AutoCom Delphi 2014.2 anywhere on your computer.

b) Copy or move all files inside folder 'Delphi 2014.2' to folder: C:Program Files (x86)Delphi DiagnosticsDS150E (New VCI)

c) Overwrite all files when it asks you to — as seen below...

Step 4:

Launch AutoCom from your computer. There should be a desktop icon called: DS150E New VCI

When you get to this screen:

a) Open up 'KeyGen - AutoCom 2014.2' (from the downloaded ZIP file in Step 3a) — and enter your Serial number (we already emailed you your Serial Number) inside 'SN' field as seen below:

b) Choose these settings:

BRAND: Delphi
VER: 2013.3
TYPE: CARS
WHAT KEY: HWKEY

c) Press button 'KEY'.

d) Then copy SN into 'Serial Number' field. And HWID into 'Hardware key' as seen below...

e) Click on arrow to continue.

Step 6:

Click on button 'START'.

When you get this show up:

Click 'Yes'.

Then browse to your Desktop, and save the file 'FileActivation' there.

Step 7:

a) Open up 'Activator - AutoCom 2014.2' (from the downloaded ZIP file in Step 3a).

b) Click on 'Open and Activate'.

c) Browse to your Desktop and double-click on file: FileActivation

Step 8:

Click on 'Start'.

On next window, choose 'No', as seen below...

Browse to your Desktop, and double-click on file: FileActivation

Step 9:

Software will now register and launch automatically. (Yes, it will still show 2013.3 Logo, but it is actually 2014).

When it prompts you to update the software from internet, choose NO, as seen below...

DO NOT update thesoftware from internet, else you'll brake the license and it'll benearly impossible to reinstall it again. In this case, Total CarDiagnostics won't be refunding, because you have been warned.

All updates will be emailed to customers including how-to-update instructions.

Now let's test that it's working...

Step 10:

a) Connect AutoCom to laptop and car.

b) Turn car ignition on.

Step 11:

a) Inside AutoCom software, click on: Settings > Hardware setup

b) Select 'USB/BT (Com-port)'.

c) Click on 'Test'.

It should successfully detect your device and show something like this...

If it prompts that Firmwareis out of date, then click on 'Update' button and wait 10 minutes forAutoCom unit to update. Don't disconnect it while it's updating.

When firmware is updated, you're ready to start scanning your vehicle(s).

Troubleshooting:

1.Test Failed (or) Wrong Serial Number Message: If you get this inside Step 11 when you press 'Test': OR you get this message any time when attempting to use the software: Then, all this means is you entered WRONG serial number at time ofinstallation. This is EASY to fix. And doesn't need you to reinstall thesoftware again. Here's how to fix this... STEP A: Take note of theSerial number as seen in above picture (example: 20418). Because that'sthe serial number you're going to register the software with. STEP B: Exit AutoCom Delphi software. For Windows 7, 8, 10 users, inside Windows start menu, search for: Folder Options For Windows XP users, go to: Windows Explorer > Tools > Folder Options It should look like this: Tick option as shown in #2 in above pic. Then Ok. Firstly: disconnect your internet, or you can't activate 2012 Release 3 Delphi by USB Stick, by the way, some customer will question, if not disconect from internet, when i activate the 2013 Delphi Release 3 software, how to fix? pls following this way:

open the host (use the notepad). and copy these words to your host file:

127.0.0.1 activation.autocom.se
127.0.0.1 activation2.autocom.se
127.0.0.1 activation.autocom.se
127.0.0.1 activation2.autocom.se
127.0.0.1 activation.autocom.se
127.0.0.1 activation2.autocom.se
127.0.0.1 activation.autocom.se
127.0.0.1 activation2.autocom.se

If it is cockamamie for your, pls back-up your host file,and then replace your host file by this host file (Download), after the Delphi software have be activated, pls recove your host file,

secondly: remove Autocom Delphi software certificate from your PC
Download the Patch file and remove certificate.rar

following: run : remove certificate.exe

-> it will remove original autocom Delphi certificate from windows certificates folder.

you also can try: run: certmgr.msc in CMD, and choose:

Certificates-current User(need administrator)--Personal-Certificates-Choose Autocom***, and delete it.



Then copy patch content to Delphi installation dir (Must overwriting original files), usually installation dir is C:Program FilesDelphi, if you haven't change the installation dir. for example, the delphi software is installed on D: disk:

Thirdly: Notice: the below two steps have be finished.

After you finished with them, you can start Delphi activation. just try!

1. Open Delphi DS150E software, it will start activation process.



2. Delphi Software activation: input: Serial number:100251,Hardware key:
WLUQXOZJZCKP



3. Choose activate via USB stick



4. Insert USB stick to your PC(Min. 1MB Free Space)

5. About 2-5 seconds, The programmer will write information to your USB Stick

6. Eject USB Stick, send the FileActivation.xml on USB stick to us: [email protected]

7: overwriting the old FileActivation.xml by new FileActivation.xml file(from us)

8: Insert USB stick into your PC agian, Now the software is activated.
